    We had an over the range hood fan that needed to be installed. The previous installers from a different company had started the job, but stopped when the cabinet board that would have held the fan started to break when doing the cutout for the vent. They left us in a worse off situation than what we started with, and we had no idea to to fix it. Nabi, from Mr. Handyman was able to find a clever solution to secure the hood fan to the cabinet without replacing the board entirely, and he did an excellent job of fixing the vents that were knocked out by the previous installers. The job was rather complex and not a straightforward hood fan install, but he did a great job with the install. Overall, I'm very happy with the work done!

  • Our countertop installation process varies depending on the type of countertop material you have and want. Whether you're getting a brand-new granite countertop or modern tile, your Mr. Handyman countertop installers follow our proven process. Here's how our custom countertop installation process works:

    • We remove your existing countertops and ensure the material and/or cabinets supporting your counters are structurally sound. If not, we will replace the support material.
    • We’ll make recommendations and provide options for different countertop materials and styles, but ultimately, the final decision is yours.
    • Based on your preference, we can cut countertop sections off-site or in your home to meet the exact specifications for your space.
    • Our installation team dry-fits the sections to ensure a perfect fit before permanently securing your countertops.
    • Once the counters are in place, cutouts are made for your sink, cooktop, and other customized features.
    • Once the countertops are fully prepared with the appropriate cutouts, our team installs and secures the countertops in place.
    • If required, seams are joined with color-matched epoxy or other sealing products.
    • Your appliances and other inserts are professionally installed and caulked.
    • The edges of the counter where it meets the wall will be caulked for a polished finish.

    Our installation team is thorough and efficient. We’ll complete your countertop installation in a timely manner, with as little disruption as possible, and leave you with beautiful new countertops that will last for years.
