  • Peeling vinyl flooring can be caused by several factors, including:

    • Moisture exposure
    • Improper installation
    • Wear and tear
    • Water damage

Water damage is the most common cause of vinyl peeling, especially in bathrooms where the humidity is higher. However, vinyl flooring in the kitchen can also peel because it’s an area with frequent spills.

If the adhesive the professionals used during installation isn’t properly applied to the subfloor or it wasn’t prepared correctly, the vinyl won’t stick securely and will start to peel. To repair this, you should clean and dry the area, reapply the adhesive, and press the vinyl back into place.

If the damage is more extensive, you’ll need to replace the affected sections totally. Professional repair services can ensure a smooth, lasting fix without the risk of further peeling.
