She found a window of good weather and helped to arrange the crew within a week. James and crew started the work at 8 am on Wednesday. They built the scaffolding, removed the Hardie Plank siding, opened up the OSB and found the rot (which was larger than originally thought), and replaced the sheathing. They also found that the bathroom window frame had a rot in the frame due to damaged window seal. So they brought the window down, fixed the rot and made a temporary sealing. They put the window back and put back the Hardie siding and the scaffolding was removed by Friday afternoon, working non-stop. The crew was very polite and professional and the charges were reasonable for the effort. I wouldn’t think twice before engaging Mr Handyman of West Calgary for future repairs.

We had Shyne pop over to fix an electrical issue for our kitchen. He was polite and efficient. This is the second time we have had Mr. Handyman come over to help us and we couldn’t be happier. The first time to build a small wall and the second time for electrical in our kitchen. Janet was our contact through the company who organized the time and let us know when Shyne was on his way and then followed up to make sure we were happy. She was professional and lovely to talk to. Great company! You can’t go wrong.

Andre was beyond amazing. This was a super last-minute situation and I needed help taking apart a bed I had absolutely no idea how to disassemble, but he made the entire process feel stress-free from the start. Not only did he take the bed apart quickly and carefully, he also carried everything downstairs without any issues. I had also mentioned that I wanted to change my deadbolt lock, but being very new to all of this, I had no clue about sizing, brands, or what I even needed. Andre was incredibly patient and helpful. He asked a few questions, and when I didn’t know the answers, he simply said not to worry and even went to check the neighboring units to figure out the correct sizing himself. The very next morning, Andre arrived just before 8 AM ready to get started. I also mentioned wanting to move a couch and a few miscellaneous items into the garage for storage, and without hesitation he called his colleague Stephan, who came over right away to help. Together they moved everything carefully, organized it in the garage, and even covered everything up to protect it while in storage. The efficiency, professionalism, and quality of work from both Andre and Stephan were truly above and beyond. On top of that, they were both just genuinely kind, respectful, and trustworthy people who made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. You can tell they truly care about helping people and go out of their way to make things easier. Huge thank you to Andre, Stephan, and Mr. Handyman Services. I honestly could not recommend them enough and will absolutely be using them again in the future.
