Today Jordin and his lovely wife, Tara, came out to fix my fence. I have wanted this done for years but my neighbour, although he agreed the fence needed work, he would not commit. So, I decided to do the part of the fence that bothered me the most. This was not easy to find someone to do this job. Most of the fence builders want to do whole fences or at least, 85ft. My fence was just over 65 in total. And, wanting only to do part, made it impossible to find someone. I went through HomeStars as I had used them for a different project years ago. They gave me two names, one of which was Handyman Connection of Calgary. Right from the first email from Nancy, I have found them to be very responsive, friendly and, ever so, helpful. Nancy took my particulars over the phone and I sent some pictures. She gave me an estimate and suggested ways to reduce the price. I appreciated her honesty. Nancy was always available to answer questions etc. On the day of the rebuild, I was sent a text with the names and PICTURES of the workpeople coming to do the work. I was told to expect them at 8 am and that is when they arrived. I was lucky enough to get Jordin and Tara. They were seriously awesome. They listened to what I wanted and I had added some more things from what I had told Nancy. They gave me an estimate which they kept to. They completed three panels and Jordin was working on fixing my gate (this was an added job) And while he had working on that, I was thinking that if we did another panel, the fence would look so much better. So, I asked if they would mind to do that fourth panel. I felt bad because I had originally said I wanted four panels done, but when they got there, I decided that we would only do three as it was cheaper. But sometimes, cheaper isn't the answer. Anyhow, they were more than happy to do it. I had to go to get some more wood and stuff while they dismantled the fence. They quickly put up that panel and packed up. I was really impressed at how tidy they kept things. That is the professional part!! My fence looks amazing. It makes me happy every time I see it. And I go to see it lots. LOL. Thanks again, Jordin and Tara. I would highly recommend Handyman Connection and when yo do make sure you ask for, Jordin & Tara Hayes.

I had them out to fix some stair noses which were coming loose. It wasn't rushed and fixed perfectly even down to re staining the worn wood. All the other steps were checked for safety. So nice to know nobody will wipe out on the stairs. The squeeking of my front door was voluntarily fixed by tightening the screws in the hinges. I will definitely rehire for my little jobs.

We were looking to renovate our kitchen and spent a lot of time researching companies in Calgary to see similar finished projects to what we were imagining our new kitchen to look. We also wanted to make sure that we hired a reputable company as there are many fly by night guys out there with horror stories we didn't want to experience.We came across Mr. ********************** and loved the various pictures on Instagram and their website. After talking to ***, we fell in love with the process of getting our renovation going. *** was great and very patient in answering all our questions and concerns. The fact that she was an interior designer was also a bonus as she helped us ensure our selections matched the rest of the house.We had ***** do the majority of the renovation and we cannot say enough good things about him. He took great care in ensuring our home was well protected and did the work with a very high standard of quality workmanship. Whenever unexpected issues came up, ***** kept us well informed and always gave us options making us feel like we were part of the process. Real amazing experience.I want to give a big thumbs up to Mr. ********************** team! Thank you for giving us our new kitchen!

Steve was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions on my problems with my exterior door. Also kept me informed of all my options. Would highly recommend.
