After receiving a 30+ page inspection document for our newly purchased house (yikes!), we contracted Mr. Handyman of West Calgary to bring in a contractor for a couple of full days to try and tackle the worst items. Doug Grant did such an excellent job fixing, patching, insulating, wiring, plumbing, and more, we have had him back repeatedly over the last year to continue to tackle that list, and are going to continue using his services wherever possible! I am someone who really needed a handyman. I had tried people around and friends and then decided to try a professional HANDYMAN. I was so thrilled to have all my projects done in a morning and no issues. The gentleman that came was patient, listened to all my concerns very intently. He then went over what was going to happen, how he was going to do the projects and the estimated cost. He then went to work and it was all done in no time flat. He went over the supplies he needed and went to town bought them and arrived back very quickly and finished the projects, We did a walk through together and off he went . thank you so much from someone who really needed some odd non related jobs done.

Steve K came over today to mount my TV and fix up the caulking around my kitchen and bathroom sinks. He was so friendly, always explained things to me and didn't grumble about the extra effort required with my outdated mount. This saved me a lot of money and hassle. I will definitely use Mr Handyman for everything I need around the house! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs the extra hand and wants a trustworthy, quick and honest company to rely on!

While upgrading my bathroom I noticed that the exterior wall had a damp spot. I contacted Mr Handyman West Calgary based on good reviews. Amy has been very pleasant to deal with and knows the craft. She found a window of good weather and helped to arrange the crew within a week. James and crew started the work at 8 am on Wednesday. They built the scaffolding, removed the Hardie Plank siding, opened up the OSB and found the rot (which was larger than originally thought), and replaced the sheathing. They also found that the bathroom window frame had a rot in the frame due to damaged window seal. So they brought the window down, fixed the rot and made a temporary sealing. They put the window back and put back the Hardie siding and the scaffolding was removed by Friday afternoon, working non-stop. The crew was very polite and professional and the charges were reasonable for the effort. I wouldn’t think twice before engaging Mr Handyman of West Calgary for future repairs.
